About the role
Help deliver Spinorio Lab, a quantum-tuned development environment built on JupyterLab. Researchers should be able to focus on experiments rather than on maintaining cloud machines, Python environments, permissions and integrations.
This role involves building secure, scalable infrastructure for notebook workloads and connecting that infrastructure to the broader Spinorio products.
In this role, you will
- Build and operate containerized notebook environments with Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure.
- Improve deployment automation, resource utilization, reliability and developer experience.
- Design isolation, secrets management and authentication boundaries for user workloads.
- Develop monitoring, release and incident-response practices appropriate for a research platform.
What we are looking for
- Production experience with containers, Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure such as AWS.
- Comfort with Python, Linux, infrastructure automation and service observability.
- Practical understanding of application security and multi-tenant isolation.
Also valuable
- Experience with JupyterHub, EKS, identity federation or scientific computing platforms.
