Connecting circuit history, processing and execution with Spinorio Workflow

Follow a quantum experiment from captured circuit states to processing records and jobs. Spinorio Workflow keeps the available evidence connected to the work that produced it.

A result is easier to investigate when the circuit, its transformations and its execution can be examined together. Spinorio Workflow connects these records within Spinorio Lab, helping researchers trace how an experiment reached a particular outcome.

Preserve the circuit state behind the work

During notebook development, a circuit can be edited, compiled and executed several times. The circuit currently visible in a notebook may differ from the one used in an earlier run. Understanding a result therefore requires the relevant circuit state and its recorded context.

The Circuits view brings captured states into a circuit history. Selecting a state shows its diagram and structural metrics, together with related processing records and jobs. This supports investigation of the circuit as it existed at a particular point in the captured work.

Examine transformations and execution together

Circuit Processing connects observed input and output states. Researchers can inspect structural differences and the available evidence about the configuration, layout, target, timing and outcome of a recorded transformation.

Jobs connects execution records to the submitted circuit and available workload inputs. Results and timing information can then be considered alongside that context. This makes it easier to investigate which implementation was submitted and how it relates to the preceding work.

Understand what has been captured

Automatic observation follows supported Qiskit-family activity at defined boundaries. The notebook sensor records those observations, which are organised into linked histories and execution records. Available fields depend on the operation and the evidence captured.

The observation guide describes current coverage. This scope matters when interpreting a history: software being installed in the environment does not, by itself, mean that its activity is automatically tracked.

Share and revisit the evidence

Projects group selected records and preserved source snapshots. Controlled access and contributor branches let researchers share context while retaining authorship and ownership. Selected records can also be exported as structured JSON, CSV or a PDF research report, with available fields and capture limits made explicit.

Spinorio Workflow is available in the Workflow workspace of Spinorio Lab. Standalone API access is coming soon.
